Why “Great Content” Eludes Me Today

I will admit……

I’m having trouble getting my momentum back.  I’m a little off.  After having closed my etsy shop, I’m finding myself feeling a bit displaced.

Disarranged.

Disestablished.

All at once,  my etsy shop closed, my blog went down for a month whilst being moved & revamped, AND  I started the kids back to {home}schooling.

Nothing IS as it WAS.

Everything has changed and with all change comes an adjustment period.  I’m still IN said adjustment period. Setting aside the time needed to blog sort of worked itself out of my schedule, and I haven’t yet been able to figure out for the life of me how to get it back in.

But…….I will.

I have pages and pages of ideas for new posts.

Ideas and thoughts, raw and unpolished, that are just waiting for me to take the time to sit down and bring them to fruition.

It will work itself out. I’m confident that it will. It always does.

But for today, because the deep thoughts elude me and time prevents the flow of  that highly coveted thing we bloggers call “great content”, I bring to you some fun links. Things I’m loving, things I’m cooking…..

just plain old miscellaneous internet fun:

I hope you have fun with these links.  Let me know what you think.

Are you similar to me? Do you find that it takes you a while to adjust after change OR are you FAR more adaptable than I?? You know I love to hear from you.

XO, Sara

P.S. Have you entered to win the adorbs denim clutch, yet??

  1. I couldn’t be more with you in the “dis” feelings…..

…love the peplum jacket….I was talkin’ peplum on the blog yesterday. I haven’t worn a peplum in a long time….worried it will just make my belly pop!

    …love Matthew West!

…we will get through all this “change”….somehow

    • I’m a little hesitant to take the peplum plunge, too because even though it’s adorbs on the super skinnies in the pics, I have a feeling it wouldn’t be the most flattering on me :-/

      Thanks for visiting, sweet friend.

  2. I know exactly how you feel. I am re-entering the work force after being an at home mom for 7 years. I’m beyond nervous about what will happen. I know it’s going to take awhile for everyone to adjust. Change is never easy, but sometimes very necessary.

    • I will so be thinking of you & praying for you as you re enter the workforce! That will be a big adjustment for all of you!

  3. Sara,

I would normally think I’m adaptable but today my iron broke and my sewing machine broke. We have a spare sewing machine (very different style) but no iron. I’m not adapting. I’m kinda sitting here pouting. I have too much to do and I’m afraid of what will happen next.

I guess it depends on the weather.

    • I’m so sorry about your sewing machine & iron 🙁

I hope that today you are able to get your feet back under you and get some things accomplished, Cinders! Thinking of you today, friend! XO

  4. I read your About Me post through the Creating Community link-up – and I feel as though I could have written 90% of it myself. I love your heart. I have added you to my Blog Lovin and I am looking forward to getting to know you more!

  5. I don’t know how many times I’ve felt like this. I’ve gone through so many changes as an entrepreneur and each major change leaves me trying to find a new normal that allows me to bring the best me to the forefront again. It’s a growing period, I think. One that doesn’t necessarily feel the best when you’re going through it, but it always leads to the right path.

    • Hi Ashley!

You put into words beautifully exactly what I’m looking for right now “a new normal” Thanks so much for stopping and for your wise words.
